I Felt An Angel Near Today,
Though One I Couldn’t See.
I Felt An Angel, Oh-So-Close,
Sent To Comfort Me.
I Felt An Angel’s Gentle Kiss,
Soft Upon My Cheek.
And Oh, Without A Single Word,
Of Caring It Did Speak.
I Felt An Angel’s Loving Touch,
Soft Upon My Heart.
And With That Touch, I Felt The Pain,
And Hurt Within Depart.
I Felt An Angel’s Tepid Tears,
Fall Softly Next To Mine.
And Knew That As Those Tears Did Dry,
A New Day Would Be Mine.
I Felt An Angel’s Silken Wings,
Enfold Me With Pure Love.
And Felt A Strength Within Me Grow,
A Strength Sent From Above.

I have been having a very hard time since my husband died and one night when I was feeling very down I felt arms around me like they were trying to lift me up. At first I was scared I thought someone had broken in my house but then I realized it was a angel trying to comfort me.

many people think Angels must have wings, but now iknow they are wrong because you the designers of this site and the writters of all the beautiful poems and words of inspiration are all Angels without wings.

Yesterday I received a annointed prayer cloth to aid and strenghten me in recovery froma long and serious illness this poem and card fit right in with the emotions and effect that the prayer cloth provided me.

This reminds me of months ago when I was in the chapel of our church and a beautiful memorial was being said and I heard the church bells ringing. After the service I asked many if they had heard them and they said no… Could this have been the angels telling me that they were also present in the chapel and I heard them telling me that they also loved this person and were sending their love???

Love…Yes, I did feel peace and from where I sat in the chapel I could see the blue sky and the soft clouds overhead, with the sunshine coming through. Sometimes I see wonderous things that people are too busy to notice…I feel blessed, and you can be also, just go slow, stop and notice…Have you ever noticed that when walking with a child, they suddenly stop and notice a flower on the lawn and bend over and smell it… What a beautiful sight. Come, let us be children again and notice GOD’s wonderous world… Blessings to you Elizabeth

That’s a gift you have and it is truly divine. There is something about flowers that attracts a child, I think its the colors that facinate them, it a wonderful site to see them run to the flower! It makes me want to run and climb a tree like a child. When sometimes looking at God’s creation I always feel the presence of an Angel with me, it’s a peace like the one you described, which I feel. I thank you for sharing your story with me!

When I Was Very Ill Once, My Husband Awoke At Night, And Could Not Find Me, He Said Finally He Thought She Goes Out Sometimes And Looks Out The Arcaddia Doors, So He Layed Back In Bed , Looked At The Doors, There Was The Most Beautiful Angel Standing At The Door, He Said When The Angel Turned Around, That Angels Face Was Mine, Same Color Of Hair, ” BLONDE”, But He Did Not Tell Me For About A Year After That ! “When He Did, I Did Not Believe I Could Be An Angel, for MY HEAVENLY FATHER”, There is A Saying, that if your husband Does Not Paticipate in Church With You, And You Pass Away , That God Does Use The Chosen Ones Like That As His Angels! AS LONG As You Never Stray, And You Are Spotless And Washed In His Blood, That You Will Be His Angel ! Would That Not Be So Wonderful, WOW, I Surly Hope That Is True? “SISTER BET LOU”
