Just for you at Easter
This cheery little card
To tell you that you are my friend
And this is our reward.

So to you I send this blessing
Carried over, every other day,
To bless you with His saving grace
For as Friends, we’ll always stay.

The sins of this world-
He took upon himself,
So we could forever live-
The meaning of true wealth,

He carried all our burdens-
With that heavy cross,
Mocked and beaten along the way-
So mankind would not be lost,

He is the Son of God-
Who wore a crown of thorns,
Let them nail him to a Cross-
So Salvation could be born,

Washed and laid in a tomb-
On the third day He did rise,
So all the world could see-
In His death life was the prize.

May You Have
a Blessed Easter!

The journey Christ embarked on
He knew would lead to death,
He asked God to forgive them
Before He drew His final breath.

Many thought His journey over
As they laid Him in a tomb,
But Jesus had spoken of this
Resurrection would come soon.

The third day His Father raised Him
A message of hope would unfold,
It’s meaning was eternal life
For every believer young and old.

The reason for this long journey
Was so all the world could see,
How much Our Father loves us
He gave His only Son for you and me.

Wishing You a Blessed Easter

Get out the trumpets -
and blow them loud,
Jesus has risen into the clouds.

Sing Alleluia and praise in song -
for the promise of His rising,
to us belongs.

Joyfully proclaim in song and dance -
for our eternal life,
is at last enhanced.

The stone is gone from the tomb -
and now salvation,
for all, does loom.

Celebrate His victory over death -
new life restored,
from his last breath.

Share the message -
and spread it wide,
for Jesus has risen from on high!

The sleeping earth awakens
The robins start to sing,
The flowers open wide their eyes
to tell us it’s Spring,

the bleakness of the winter
Is melted by the sun,
The tree that stood so stark and dead
Becomes a living one…

These MIRACLES of EASTER,
Wrought with divine perfection,
And the blessed reassurance
Of our Savior’s Resurrection.

Eternal the message, the stones been rolled away
Deaths grip can no longer imprison us
The risen Christ walked free today

The tomb is empty; our salvation has been won
Faith, hope and love dwells forever
New journeys have now begun

Forgiveness; redemption awaits all who seek
Jesus saves the lost and hopeless
The troubled, sick and weak

Life sings its song, nothing can be sweeter
Jesus lives for those believing
Blessed promise of Easter

“What is Easter?” Some may ask
in this world today
They haven’t had the benefit
of parents that do pray

This new generation
brought up just to think
Easter is for colored eggs
and bunnies that are pink

Picnics in the park with friends
watching children play
Parades in every city
floats are on display

Spring break is a focus
many often have
Some will plan vacation
visit mom and dad

All these things within themselves
are fun and bring us pleasure
Just remember Christ’s own death
for this is the real treasure

Christ was featured on display
he had his own parade
From bleeding wounds came colors red
that all the soldiers made

He didn’t ride on flowered floats
he walked alone instead
carrying his wooden cross
as his body bled

He could hear the ridicule
the screaming out of scorn
They said “yes, here comes the king”
a crown of thorns was worn

They nailed him to that cross that day
on a hill for all to see
They pierced his side and spat on him
took all his dignity

He could have called on angels
to save him from this pain
But instead he suffered
for the world’s own gain

Christ did know this day would come
the purpose of his birth
It didn’t make the suffering less
but he knew its worth

Christ did die..God’s own son
on Golgotha hill
On the third day after that
he arose yet still

His precious blood he shed for us
now cleanses every soul
All our sin is washed away
made clean and pure as gold

He lives! He lives!
As we will one day too
Death of flesh was not his end
it’s the same for me and you!

Easter is a time of love, of family, and of peace.
It is a time when we say a quiet thanks
for all that we have and for all that
the future holds.

Easter is a feeling in our hearts of hope and faith and trust.
It is a day of miracles;
a day when our dreams seem a little closer;
a time of retrospection
for what has been and anticipation of all that will be.

And it is a time for remembering with love and appreciation
the people in our lives who make a difference…
people like you.
