Re: Back home again

Thanks for your reply Eva. There so many people who take advantage
of the poor and the helpless in this area. And the problem with many
people is that they would rather Pray for forgiveness than fight temptation.

:) It is really good to be back home again. I was volunteering with a group of people some from the American Legion and the VFW in some areas in the Appalachian Mountains. I couldn't believe that there were any areas in the USA that were so isolated and living in such poverty. I'll discuss the circu...

Do You Remember

Do you remember way back when, say many, many years, you never saw your sweethearts limbs, but judged her by her ears The Kids were washed each Saturday night, their Daddy cut their hair Their suits were made from their Uncles pants, and they wore no underwear The Women padded, but did not paint, no...

All These Things

Sunshine in the morning, moonlight at night, the fragrance of gardens, the deep silence of harvest fields, the rattle of teacups, the laughter of happy children, the familiar trend of loved and approaching feet, a beautiful thought, a pleasant dream, a letter, a kindly greeting, a worthwhile job to ...

Re: Laura's Little Shoes

Thanks Eva for your reply to Laura's Little Shoes. I penned that one almost 50 years ago,
when I was in my early twenties, for one of my cousins who passed. Shows you how old
I am now. Happy Thanksgiving.
