Merry Christmas Eve...

Postby vickielynn » Mon Nov 22, 2010 2:02 am

Singing Christmas carols it,s almost Christmas day,
a star is brightly shining to help light Santa,s way.

As the snow is falling it,s that time of year,
knowing that it won,t be long that Santa will be here.

As they lay there quietly pretend to be asleep,
they hear a noise sneak down the stairs to try and take a peek.

On a table milk and cookies a little eggnog too,
the room is warm and toasty a note they left for you.

His rosy cheeks his graying beard his suit of white and red,
a bag of toys he carries that he had on his sled.

With present underneath the tree the children soon will wake,
Santa then says ho ho ho just watch his belly shake...

Merry Christmas And God Bless..

What an adorable Christmas poem, dear Vicki. This would make a cute little children's book with some Christmas graphics!!! Thank you for sharing it with us...I thoroughly enjoyed it! Similar to what Eva said, it make me think of my childrens excitement at Christmas time....many years ago. God bless you dear friend!
Love and prayers, Shirley

I enjoyed this very much. It captures that quintessential anticipation that we all remember-- Santa's late night visit. Thank you.
