Meaning of Christmas

Postby blessed » Mon Dec 20, 2010 12:23 am

He was born in a manger, so tender and mild.
Born on this day, God’s heavenly child.

God blessed all of man, with the gift of His birth,
To save the lost souls, who live on this earth.

All would rejoice, and the angels would sing,
At the birth of God’s child, the heavenly king.

For God loved the world, that He gave us His Son,
So all could be saved, and death comes to none.

What other gift, more perfect could be?
Than the one who was sent, from the heavens for me.

So let us give thanks, for the gift we all share,
The true meaning of Christmas, and the Lord who’s up there.
