Two Hearts Sewn Together

Postby yesireallydo777 on Sun Feb 08, 2009 5:13 pm

The many threads of life,
in their vast array of hues
Spin a mosaic tapestry,
of good times and the blues
Two hearts sewn together,
with sunshine and some rain
Embracing one another,
in joy as well as pain.
A common bond and purpose,
to serve the other well
Make strong the ties that bind us,
against the gates of hell.
Tightly woven with integrity,
in spirit, mind and soul
Three strands braided jointly,
to make the others whole.
Hand in hand we share this path,
with many twists and turns.
This passion deep within us,
compassionately burns.
To put God first in all we do,
no matter what the weather.
Thanking him with all we have,
for two hearts sewn together.

Lovely lady linner, you've touch so many hearts
Inspiring each and every one, your love is off the charts
Never tiring in your quest, to encourage all around
Deep sincerity and kindness, in earnest does abound.
A friend in every way is what we all have found.

Well, thank you very much, Vic...goodness gracious !! That's awfully nice of you !! And YOUR check is in the mail !! (That is how we kid each other here...Daniel started it, so he's the culprit !!) Yet, the focus of this space on NetHugs is on your most wonderful and touching and "soft yet solid" poem. My own phraseology there, and a wee bit of poetic license !! ( yesireallydo use that !) I mean that your poem is tender and strong at the same time. It is a good balance, along with your tempo and rhyming. Now I will stop dissecting the poor thing and again congratulate you on your ecard !! lol !!! Nuff said !!

Love, Linner :D
