If I Should Touch Your Cheek

If I should touch your cheek
I would touch that which
Causes loveliness to weep

If I should kiss your eyes
I would kiss the light
That beauty hides in envy
From the angels’ sight

If I should hold you in my arms
I would hold the mirror
Those angels keep
