No matter what explanation they come up with
Creation by God, is definitely not a myth!
The scientists think they have it all solved
Concerning evolution, how man evolved!
They say that long time ago, we were an ape
And through time, we changed our shape!
What an insult to the Lord and to all of us
Man's high-technology, so called progress!
Funny, isn't it, they can put a man on the moon
But yet, they can't stop the winds of a typhoon!
They say they have all the answers
But then again,no known cure for cancer!
They secretly build their nuclear bombs, piece by piece
Then, they all say, we want world peace!
Little children die from hunger and poverty everyday
Yet countries still declare, help is somewhere on the way!
All the weather pattern changes, is from global warming
Have you heard the earth is continually transforming?
The earthquakes, the tidal waves, the mighty storms
Better take cover, it's not our fault, the governments warn!
As soon as one new disease in under control
Another one is surfacing, all ready to roll!
Money given without hesitation in research, for our benefit
How do we benefit from a nuclear bomb, I just don't get it!
Oh mankind sure has developed and evolved over time
More like they have gotten deeper into world crime!
Wars upon wars, never cease but continue to arise
Is it just me, can no one hear the little childrens cries?
It's just not all the things that I have talked about
Somewhere along the line, man's conscience faded out!
Lashing out at each other, sisters and brothers
Never thinking about the hurt, they cause one another!
There is so much wrong-doing and hatred that exists today
Our world is not happy but full of dismay!
Fears of tomorrow, fears of the unknown
Fears of what will happen next, has been planted and sewn!
Who were these people that brought to us, so much shame
Was it the teacher or the scientist, who is the blame?
Or did we bring it upon ourselves, possibly for gain
Huh! I think it's all wrong and so inhumane!
I am sorry I drifted away from my poem
But sometimes, my mind just wants to roam and roam!
So I am going to start this all over for you
I hope I haven't made you feeling sad and blue!
Our Loving Lord who lives in Heaven above
Created the earth for us, out of love!
He gave us everything that we needed to live
There was nothing needed for us to survive!
Enough of everything was here for all to get by
It must sadden Our Lord, to hear his children cry!
His beautiful Earth, now full of sorrow and despair
Mainly because mankind was so greedy, not willing to share!
All the Lord ever wanted for us was Peace, Joy and Love
Just as it is, in His Heaven above!
We cannot blame Our Lord, for the mess that we're in
What we all need to do, is make changes to our hearts, from deep within!
