missing chat room

i'm looking for the ole chat room.. anyone seen it? The new layout is neat but I finually figured out how to get the most out of the chat room and now I can't find it anymore..

I was under the impression that no one was making use of the chat room so I didn't include that in the upgrade. I'll try to bring it back with my limited technical skills. Sorry for the inconvenience Sir Daniel.

Also remember if you are uncomfortable with the new layout, you could change it in your account to the one that's similar to the old one. Here are the simple instructions in case you were interested:

yea, Jan and Roy and I got to talking late late one night a couple weeks back and Janet and I meet at least once a week in the chatroom to talk about things that happen elsewhere, it gives us a place we can talk and not have to worry about those we are discussing finding out.

I also figured out how to change the layout so my background was a big map of some foreign continent. And I figured out how to add a little twirly deally thingy next to my name when I was in there.

I know it wasn't used much, but it sure came in handy when we did need it.

The biggest way I know to make use of the chatroom, is schedule one day a month when people can be in there at the same time and then we can all talk. make an announcment weeks ahead so people can plan it free. Considering differant time zones, people will have to figure out exactly what time it is to NetHugs as complared to where they live but it's well worth the investigation to chat with friends you make here.

If you can't re-install it, that's okay. You do alot for us anyway.

Ok it's good to know that some people do make use of it. I'll get to work right away to bring it back online. As long as there is people using it, I don't mind the extra work.

Daniel, I'm done re-installing the chat room. Once you are logged in, look for the chat link near the top of the forum. This will only work on the default layout style. I'm working on the older layout soon. If you are using the old layout, you have to manually go to: chat/flashchat.php once you are logged in.

Yes, it is back up, Skip, but it won't let me in, it says I have been banned. How do I get in? Thanks for getting it back, I do use it now and then.

Banned??? That's strange. I'll take a look and see what is going on.

I checked and checked. There seems to be no ban on the chat system. I've even logged on as a test account and I got in fine. The only thing I can think of is that you should reboot your computer, clear your browsing history and cache and give it another go.

Hi Janice. It seems that others who have used this software is experiencing the same issue of members being banned when they are not suppose to.

I have made some suggested changes in the chat software. Hopefully this will resolve the problem. Go ahead and give it a try.

If it still doesn't work, please clear your web browser cookies and cache. You probably don't know what they are so here are the instructions:
