Dear friend of mine,I thank you once again for your very kind comment, to my writing.
I also like to say that yours was so pleasing to my heart too.
You are very gifted, God has truly blessed you my friend.
We are neighbors in a way LOL..I am next door to your state.
But I was born in Winchester,Va, My family moved to where we are because all my father's brother's moved here for work, back in the 40's, This was a boom state back then for alot of work.
Oh well here I am till the good Lord, takes me home.
I have been to many states, and several different country's in my time, while serving my country in the Army...But all in all, I had a blessed life.A blessed wife and God loving children .

She Is Gone


You can shed tears that she is gone
or you can smile because she has lived.


You can close your eyes and pray that she comes back
or you can open your eyes and see all she has left.


Your heart can be empty because you can't see her
or you can be full of the love you shared.


You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday
or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.


You can remember her and only that she is gone
or you can cherish her memory and let it live on.


You can cry and close your mind,
be empty and turn your back



Or you can do what she'd want:
smile, open your eyes, love and go on.

She lost a long battle to breast cancer.Rest In Peace My Love.

Dear B.J. this poem brought tears to my eyes and an ache in my heart, as I have lost a son and daughter. This poem stuck my heart like a dragger and is so true of which way we go in life after such a great lost. I think of my two children everyday and at night I talk with them in prayer. I know it was hard to see your wife leave this life and you. This poem is so true every word of it, I felt every verse and stanza, B.J. God Bless you and yours.

I hope that you are feeling well today, and I asked the good Lord to bless you as I prayed for you today.
We are all God's children, His only son Jesus, gives us many ,many times peace of mind.
