You're always there to lend
A helping hand when needed
To help a broken heart mend.

To my tales of loss and sorrow,
Never too busy for me
When I'm worried about tomorrow.

Yes, my friend, you're special
You're what a friend should be;
I hope I can be like you

DEAR DEBBIE, THIS POEM REMINDS ME OF MY LATE DAUGHTER. SHE HAD GIVEN ME A MOTHER'S DAY CARD AND WROTE A NOTE INSIDE THE CARD FOR ME. SHE THANK ME FOR ALL I HAD DONE FOR HER AND WHAT A GREAT MOM I WAS AND SHE WANTED TO BE JUST LIKE ME. MY HEART MELTED WITH TEARS STREAMING DOWN MY CHEEKS AND HERS TOO. WE HUG EACH OTHER AND HELD ON AS TO NEVER PART. I WAS HER MOTHER BUT I WAS HER BEST FRIEND ALSO. SO YOUR POEM HAS A VERY SPECIAL MEANING TO THOSE THAT YOU GIVE THIS POEM TO OR TELL THEM THEY ARE SPECIAL. I SHALL NEVER FORGET MY DAUGHTERS WORDS AND HOW DEAR THEY ARE TO ME THIS DAY.
