Come follow me home, little doggie
the one wagging your tail so happily.
I see you are lost and all alone.
Come follow me, I'll give you a home !

You're just what I need with your big brown eyes
so cuddly and cute, and just the right size !
We'll take little walks everyday, you by my side
even hop in my car, and go for a ride !

I'll feed you daily, little doggie
and provide you with some sweet treats !
You will never, ever, be hungry again
because now we've both found a new, loving friend !

Little doggie, you're the best thing that's happened to me
and I'll always treat you, so tenderly.
You make me so very joyful and happy
because you're so smart, cute, and always smiling !

So now you are mine, and I'll give you a name
so you will know, my home, is your place !
I'm naming you Gizmo, because you do everything
and I just adore, your cute little, loving face !

So glad you followed me home, little doggie
cause now you belong to only me !
I promise to play with, and love you forever
cause to me, you were a gift sent down from Heaven !

Awwwww...I love this poem, and I LOVE Gizmo, Shirley!! I want to reach right in and hug it's little body close to mine. It sure warms my heart to know Gizmo is with you, and has a loving home. I know God has a special place in heaven for those who so love all the creatures He made.

THANK YOU MUCH..ISN'T HE THOUGH ??? HE CAME TO US@3+ MONTHS AGO, AND DEVIN, HAD BEEN ASKING ME, FOR A LITTLE DOGGIE ! HE WS SITTING OUT IN THE FRONT, BY MY SON, STEVENS' TRUCK@FIRST, THEN HE WENT TO THE BACK, & DOWN OUR BASEMENT STAIRS, WHERE HE JUST SIT, ALL SHIVERING, AND COLD..IT WS LIGHTLY RAINING THAT DAY, AND WE TOOK HIM IN, CHECKED FOR ANY LOST DOGGIES, FITTING HIM, AND THERE WERE NONE, SO I KNEW THAT GOD', HAD SENT HIM HERE, FOR DEVIN..WE ALL ENJOY HIM...HE IS SO CUTE, SMART, AND CUDDLY...HE HAS GROWN QUITE A BIT ALREADY TOO..HE WS MUCH SMALLER, AND THINNER; DON'T THINK HE HAD BEEN EATING TOO MUCH@ALL, IF ANYTHING,AND FROM WHENCE HE CAME..BUT NOW, HE'S HERE TO STAY ! Thank You so much...He is a Cutie, isn't He ??? He found us, so we took him in, and of course cldn't resist !
