She was waiting there for me
that was a total surprise
I never thought she would be
or there'd be tears in her eyes
She had made it clear before
that she would not marry me
Then she walked right out the door
together we'd never be
Then she showed up here today
and I saw love in her eyes
She spoke and I heard her say,
"I was wrong to say goodbye!"
She said, "I now realize
you love me with all your heart.
If you'll give me one more try,
I'll love you with all MY heart!"
I said, "How can I say no?
I have loved you all my life!
Please say yes so I will know
that you want to be my wife."
She said, "Yes, I'll be your wife,
that is what I want to be.
I'll stay with you all my life
always in love, you and me."
