Perfect Christmas
I have the tree, the tinsel, and I have the lights
A beautiful angel, with halo so bright
On every single branch, there are ornaments
Candy canes and silver bells dangle above the presents
Beautiful gifts, tied with ribbons and bows of satin
Piled high beneath the tree on a skirt of softest cotton
A little train circling around and around
With a sign on the boxcar reading North Pole bound
There's a wreath above the fireplace and one hung on the door
Christmas rugs of red and green, scattered on the floor
Candles burning brightly, upon the mantlepiece
Each one encircled by a tiny holly wreath
There's mistletoe in every arch, just waiting for a kiss
My Christmas is almost perfect, there's just one thing I miss
If I could have the one I love, wrapped in my arms just right
My Christmas would be perfect, with you on Christmas night

I am not perfect. I am a work in progress. I have the greatest carpenter who ever
lived repairing me. Do you know Him?
His name is Jesus Christ.
