~ Give Me Your Tears ~

Postby DeaconSteve on Mon Jan 07, 2008 1:36 am

Give me all your tears
and I will take them to the sea
I am the keeper of all tears
for it is I who will set them free.

They will mix with other tears
from the world both far and wide
folks just like you in stressful times
who felt such a need to cry.

Those tears of hurt and pain
of loneliness in your heart
burdens you've carried for so long
for in the oceans they will depart.

Tears you've shed because of loss
of someone loved so very much
Those tears I will release for you
and your loved one will keep in touch.

If you have trouble finding them
and your well of tears have dried
bring up the ones deep in your heart
those tears that you've tried to hide.

Give those tears that drag you down
that weigh heavily on your mind
the tears locked up in your past
the ones you are afraid to find.

I will take all the tears you give
and as I release them to the sea
your heart will feel so much lighter
that you gave them unto Me.

Love, Jesus

GIVE ME YOUR TEARS

Postby karenkelley on Mon Jan 07, 2008 3:21 am

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL THOUGHT. A LETTER FROM JESUS. I LOVE THE WAY YOU SAY LET THEM ESCAPE INTO THE SEA. I LIVE BY THE OCEAN AND I KNOW IT IS A HOLY PLACE OF GREAT BEAUTY THAT GOD CREATED. I ALWAYS FEEL THAT WE STAND AT THE EDGE OF INFINITY AND GOD GAVE THE OCEAN A HEARTBEAT. PERHAPS SOME OF THE SALT IN THE OCEAN IS A FROM MANY TEARS WE HAVE ALL CRIED WHEN WE HAVE LOST LOVED ONES. GOD KNOWS I FEEL LIKE I HAVE CRIED AN OCEAN OF THEM MYSELF AS I HAVE LOST SO MANY LOVED ONES. I KNOW YOURS ARE THERE ALSO. BUT YOU HAVE ADDED ANOTHER DIMENSION TO BEING ABLE TO LEAVE THEM WITH GOD'S SON AND FIND THAT SWEET RELIEF AND PEACE THAT ONE CAN FIND WHEN WE CAN GIVE THEM TO JESUS. I AM IN AWE ONCE AGAIN. THANK YOU DEACON STEVE FOR SHARING YOUR HEART WITH US. GOD BLESS AND KEEP YOU ALWAYS IN HIS CARE. I LOVED IT. LOVE TO YOU AND YOURS, RESPECTFULLY, KAREN K. :) :) :) :) :)
thanks for the support. a great man is known by his works and word. may there be more people willing to uphold those truths.
respectfully, Karen Kelley

~Give Me Your Tears~

Postby wvhillbilly47 on Mon Jan 07, 2008 6:50 pm

Dearest Deacon Steve,
I can certainly relate to this poem, as I have had so much sadness in my life, and loss. I have released many of the tears, but I know that there are those that are still there, waiting to be let go and released to our loving, Heavenly Father. With time, they will be sent to Him.
This is a very beautiful, deep, soul searching poem, that has caused me to take a good look at what I am still holding onto. Thank you for writing and sharing it. With each tear that I release, I pray that a rose petal, or an angel's flutter, or a hug will take its place.
God bless you for your wonderful insight into the human spirit and the love of Jesus!!!
Your Net Hugs Sister in Christ,
Sheila

We get letter all the time from Jeus Karen, most of the time He has some one like us write them down and deliver them. He wants us to know how much He loves us and that He knows the depth of our hearts and souls. Thank you my sweet friend for you loving comment. God bless.

I know it has been difficult for you to deal with the losss of you mother and I hope it was not so hard on the anniversay of her passing (as I was prraying for you and elizbo). You have a heart so rich in love for all my freind. You will get through this, for some it just takes more time. No two people are alike. All my love and prayers continue for you. God bless.

Oh, yes Marly, He definitely is the keeper of our tears and so much more. We just have to be willing to let go of them don't we. Love you my friend. Hey, did you notice I replied to each of you in a separate post? I thought each deserved that much as the poem touched each in a somewhat different way. I also know that like tears, you have poems all over the place that I haven't gotten too. In time. God bless.

Sheila, I don't think you would be surprised to know that most all of us are stiil dealing with things in our life, many different issues, illnesses, family issues, personal. But, yes Jesus is the keeper of not only our tears, but our hearts, and He already knows what is there, and He will lead us on the journey of life that we all walk together. God bless you my sweet friend. Love you.

All the tears I cried this year 2007 it touches me to know that God saw each one fall and cares enough to take them away from me. Humans may see you cry and hug you. but they can't tell you this.

"Give me all your tears
and I will take them to the sea
I am the keeper of all tears
for it is I who will set them free. "

and

"Tears you've shed because of loss
of someone loved so very much
Those tears I will release for you
and your loved one will keep in touch."

Then you go on to say,
That if I let it all out,

"I will take all the tears you give
and as I release them to the sea
your heart will feel so much lighter
that you gave them unto Me. "

:) So thanks.
God will never give up on you.
