BECAUSE YOU'RE SO SPECIAL

You may think today is normal
But it's special, as you will see
It's the day I'm going to tell you
How much your friendship means to me

On the days when I am lonely
Just a word from you will bring
A smile to my somber face
And make my sad heart sing

You are so very thoughtful
Like a very gracious host
You always seem to know
What I need to hear the most

You truly are a good friend
Even though we've never met
We've built our bond of friendship
Over the Internet

Who would have thought two people
Who have never seen each other
Could become as close
As a sister or a brother

Every day you make me laugh
Your jokes are so much fun
Whether they're hysterical
Or just a clever pun

The serious cards you send
Sometimes bring a tear
It's always so very comforting
Just to know you're near

I've been so very blessed by God
To have you as my friend
Because you are so special
I never want our friendship to end

Dearest Bev!
This is a lovely friendship poem, and says so much!! My internet friends are truly the best friends I could have!! They make my every day one to get up for and get to the puter to see my messages...I would be lost without all of them!...because they're SO SPECIAL!...AND BECAUSE YOU'RE SO SPECIAL!!! The e-cards you send to me, and all the funnies and other sends, just cheer me up so much!!

Dearest Angel: what a wonderful friendship poem this is, it would truly make a wonderful e-card. I would both love to receive it and also send it to my friends. I do hope Skip takes notice of it. I think he must be extra busy right now, as he has not had the time to make a new one in over a month now, but maybe he will find time soon.

Dear Beverly, sites like Net Hugs make the world a much smaller place. We are as close to each other as a thought, no matter where we live. I have met some wonderful people via the 'net' that otherwise I would never have known, and your poem expresses this so well.

It is amazing how many good friends we can make in other parts of the world, when, just a few years ago, we would never have had the chance to do so. Here I sit in the USA and you are sitting in Australia. I never would have met you, if it weren't for the net.....and I am so glad that I have met you, dear friend.
