She was lonely on her special day
No calls,no visits no one cared either way

Only she was excited to make another year
But it was her friends and loved ones she wanted near

She takes herself to the local bakery
Buys one piece of cake and says happy birthday to me

Wondering if anyone even cares
Closing out her special day with tears
