~MELODY OF LOVE~


I hear the melody of love in your voice
To listen to you is my delightful choice
To see the love light in your eyes
Is like sunbeams in my skies


You add enchantment to my life
You make me feel, life has no strife
To be with you is my sweetest dreams
With you I want to dance on moonbeams


You're the melody that makes my heart sing
Sweeter than all the birds in the spring
With you I can do almost anything
With joy you make my heart ring


I feel like a kite dancing on a string
So much happiness to me you bring
You are the lovely melody in my soul
You make me feel complete and whole

Oh, what an absolutely beautiful tribute to love. It is just sweet, loving, and has such deep emotion in every line. You paint a perfect picture of adoring someone!

Thank you dear angel, I am very glad that you enjoyed it. You know how the muse some times goes, didn't sleep well last night, and it started coming a line or two at a time. Kept having to turn the lamp on and off. LOL

I don't know that much about a muse, but this is a very beautiful poem, love poem or friendship doesn't matter. You penned it well my dear Janice. Maybe you should have more nights of "off and on" - just kidding. Something also special in this write, it is very descriptive and reads like soft tender song of love. Absolutely very beautiful dear friend. Thank you for the invitation. Be blessed with much more JOY! lOVE YOU AS ALWAYS.

Oh Jan, this is a lovely love poem and as I was reading it I had a background music to go along with it. It felt good to read the poem and listen to the music at the same time. It was very soothing and I enjoyed this love poem of yours. Thanks for sharing this poem. God bless you and all those you love.

Ah Jan,

Love is such a sweet gift and there is nothing to compare with the way it makes you feel. This poem is filled with emotion and reminds me of a first love or a renewed one.

Beautifully written and it filled up my mind and heart with joy..........love you!

Ahhh, your Muse would seem to be in a most sentimental mood, my dear! I hope this means your 'significant other' is improving, health-wise? You should be able to compose some delightfully emotive verse after you've perused the reference-materials which I shall send you shortly.

Thank you so much my Delightful Dove. I guess it might go good with music, Steve even mentioned that it sounded like a soft tender love song to him. I didn't think of it as a song when I wrote it. But I do think that some songs start out as poems. I am glad the you liked it.
