In life we meet many people
Some will become our friends,
But you have touched my heart
My problems you help me mend.

You’re always there to listen
And help everyone that you can,
With a friend like you on earth
Life is much easier to understand.

I just wanted to let you know
To this world you mean so much,
All the kindness and love you share
Is always given with an angel's touch…

Jeff, this is such a beautiful poem I can almost see an angel

smiling down on me. Everyone should treat others as they would like others to treat them--that's what this is, friendship.

Aw, Jeff...you've got it down pat here !! Friends are absolutely the best thing (?) that one can have in life. The true ones are always there for you, and it's a very special kind of love that transcends ordinary relationships. I don't know what I would have done without my friends that I've made on the internet since my husband passed away. They lift me up and help me to carry on...have actually been instrumental in the formation of my 'new life', so to speak. I thank you for your lovely poem...and congratulations on it being made into an e-card by Webmaster!!

Lovely thoughts, Jeff. I think we are all someone's earthly angel and friend even though we may not be aware of it. Kind words and gentle ways can save a life and make happy days. We are seldom aware of the impact we do have in others lives. But I know I cherish my true friends like true gems for they are very rare.
