Have you ever found a friend
That makes your heart glow
Someone who is wonderful
You feel honored to know
Someone to laugh with perhaps even to cry
Someone whom you love no matter what they do
Someone who looks up to you when you don’t know why
Someone who just seems to understand you
Someone that you think of day and night
Someone you pray for as you go to bed
Someone who shows up when the time is just right
Thoughts of them are always in your head
Someone who shares with you all your ups and downs
Someone who appears when ever there is a need
Someone you share smiles with replacing all your frowns
Surely you must know, God planted that seed
These seeds God has planted here on earth
Were planted deeply in our friend’s heart
They cannot be measured by earthly worth
Only by God’s values placed here from the start
Value those friendships, honor their decisions
Respect their feelings, never make demands
Never try to make their dreams your revisions
Hold their love tightly in your hands
Never get angry if you don’t talk to them each day
Trust in friendship, send them a piece of your heart
For a heart can still feel loved even tho it’s far away
This is how God intended love to be from the start
Place their memory in your heart and mind
See them for what they really are
Continue to love them no matter the time

My girlfriend sent this card to me today. She is having health issues and I needed to let her know that I am praying for her and if she has to be operated on I have asked THE FATHER to be with her and to guide the surgeons hands.
We have been friends for a little over 20 years and I know that we will stay friends until it is time for us to go.
Your cards are so personal and seem to say what a person wants to but doesn’t know how to say.
Please keep with the cards so we may keep sending each other a card a day.

Thank you so much for writng such a beautiful card. It is so inspirational. Hi Sandra, I am praying for your friend, God will take care of her. I know that for a fact. I have had over twenty major surgeries and I am still here. Just remember,it is not over until God say it over. I will continue to pray for you and your friend.

Our God is Wonderful God!!!He always knows better than us,what is the right friend/an angel/ for us in a certain situation,and He’always there. We just need to accept this friend!!!

this is so inspirational!and i have decided to share this with as many people that i can in my reach.GOD gifts us with friends and some of them we can’t let them go even when they offend us. i would urge everyone to be grateful to GOD for the friends and loved ones HE sends our way.But above all JESUS IS THE BEST FRIEND we should yearn to have in our life time!

I am so blessed and fortunate to have friends as described in your poem. I do not believe it is by mere coincidence that I do either – truly my friends are sent from God! Jesus himself has proven to be my very best friend of all and I thank him for the many other friends he has sent to me over the years. Your poem beautifully expressed how I feel about such dear ones.

GOD is truly an amazing and He has answered many prayers…I had an emergency phone, that woke me up out my sleep, telling me my nephew Temicah is unconscious and not responding and the docters was trying to bring him back. Because of God and the many prayers prayed God brought him back….I know he did the same for Rita and her daughters because He has blessed me another day to teach my nephew….

I hope the one who is having surgery sure feels lifted up after seeing and hearing from all those who are praying on her behalf. It is nice to read cards like this and see people’s responses it just shows you how much good and great people are out there. I pray that the surgery goes well. I pray for the one who has two daughters that are sick. I pray that God will place a protective hedge around each child and not allow them to become so sick they will not recover. I just pray peace to the parent of those girls. With sickness going around so much, I m sure it has been hard on the parent. I thank all for sharing the positiveness of themselves and the willingness to pray for someone you don’t even know. This is truly an uplifting website. I love you and I miss you terribly and just hope that everything turns out Okay. Barry, you gave your heart when you said give a nice long hug, sometimes when words won’t come a nice long speechless hug is the answer to what the person needs. The kiss wouldn’t hurt either. I better stop thinking about that it will raise my blood pressure.
