I read this today and I just want to howl with grief. My mom has been failing for the past 3 years. She very seldom has a good day and every times she does I wonder is this her last good day and what can I do to make it special?
On Monday I had to have my cat Jack put to sleep. He was 13 and had Squamous Cell Carcinoma under his tongue.
Last Friday I found out that I am unwelcome at the Caregivers’ Support group because it is apparently off topic to discuss the stressors that prevent me from taking care of myself.
All I can say is that God for God because without God I would surely perish under the load of something going seriously wrong almost every day.

How I wish you could come to AUSTRALIA, just to get away from the winter, like i do during our winter here, I go there every year to visit you. All of our creatures are part of our family, also. We love them too and they know it.
Please take care of yourself…that is what your mother would want.
Caregivers Support group ought to put some love and compassion in their group.
