A Wonderful Day

I woke up early today, excited over all the things
I get to do before the day ends.
My job is to choose what
kind of day I am going to have….
Today I can complain because
the weather is rainy or …
I can be thankful that the grass
is getting watered for free.
Today I can grumble about my health or…
I can rejoice that I am alive.
Today I can mourn my lack of friends or…
I can excitedly embark upon a
quest to discover new relationships.
Today I can whine because I have to go to work or…
I can shout for joy because I have a job to do.
Today I can murmur dejectedly because
I have to do housework or…
I can feel honored because
Life has provided shelter for
my mind, body and soul
Today stretches ahead of me,
waiting to be shaped.
And here I am, the sculptor
who gets to do the shaping.

There is so much to be thankful for today. I thank God for this wonderful inspirational card. The gift of friendship and good health and all the wonderful things of nature and creation. I love the eagle in the sunset sky and the background of the mountains and the beach. A great card! Love

I am 71 year old
i have a lot of nurve damage in my feet& legs
also have had major back sugury.
But thanks be to god i’m still blessed beyound measure
i still do most of my house work and cook my meals.
and for that i’m very thankful.
look around and see the beauty of the (LORD)

Is there anything else to add? I do not think so for evrything we do is done with HIS knowledge even if not always with HIS approval!
And it brngs back another saying I read a while back which hangs in my office – I learned that no matter how thin you slice it there are always TWO sides to anything!
