It Takes Courage

It takes courage
To refrain from gossip
When others delight in it,
To stand up for the absent person
Who is being abused.

It takes courage
To live honestly
Within your means,
And not dishonestly
On the means of others.

It takes courage
To be a REAL man or a TRUE woman,
To hold fast to your ideals
When it causes you
To be looked upon
As strange and peculiar.

It takes courage
To be talked about,
And remain silent,
When a word would justify you
In the eyes of others,
But which you dare not speak
Because it would injure another.

It takes courage
To refuse to do something
That is wrong
Although everyone else
May be doing it
With attitudes as carefree
As a summer song.

It takes courage
To live according
To your own convictions,
To deny yourself
What you cannot afford.
To love your neighbor
As yourself!

The world will always judge, but God is the one who will always love us. It does not matter what the world thinks, but what matters is what God thinks about us. Love them no matter what.Love

IT IS EASY TO BE RIGHT ON PAPER. WHO IS RIGHT WHEN THINGS GO OUT OF GEAR?
THIS POEM SHOWS A HEART OF COMPASSION AND GODS LOVE.
CAN WE KEEP OUR MOUTHS SHUT WHEN WE HAVE TO TAKE THE BLAME FOR ANOTHERS MISTAKE.?
ONLY LOVE SAYS”LET YOUR WILL BE DONE ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN
GOD BLES S ALL WHO READ AND TAKE ON BOARD THE WONDERFUL WORDS WE HAVE JUST READ. MAY GOD BLESS YOU RICHLY.

to read the words of this poem is to think real hard about what is said. teach your children to love each other is a good thing no matter what color your skin is.for what is color anyway
the heart should tell you to love one another is devine, so next time you see a man starving on the street buy or make him a sandwich he will tell you thank you and he may think about getting out of the gutter and making something of himself again if you show him you care

The poem is axactly right for love id faithful, loyal, sincere and
always being there for the ones who need you. We as people may not always be able to do for everyone but we can do some kind deed
for at least one person every day.

NetHugs, what’s the matter with the old format? After I shut a card, the standby appears when I click on a new card. I am forced to shut down and start all over again. It’s very troublesome….Please look into the matter.

there is such a great messsage in this writing, causes one to dig for their own flaws and search for answers of correction. We all fall short no matter how hard we try to avoid the pit falls.

it takes courage to swallow every rebuke thrown to us most especially if it comes from someome who is the only mean of our being; for said words to that effect becomes perceivable that we just have to accept from their own point of view that we have no control of.

i would rather be hated for what I am than to be loved for what I am NOT!

What you say and what you don’t say are both important. Proper speech is not only saying the right words at the right time, but also controlling your desire to say what you shouldn’t.Our Words should be honest and well chosen. We need to remember that what we say affects others.
We must have courage and put our faith in God, who controls everything. Because God is Love and his love for us is eternity.

Take Courage, What some big words these are. Within love, hate, dislike or just plain being mean to others less than we.
What really takes courage is doing to others what you want done to yourself. Then the shoes are on the other feet then and see how and what it feels like.
Best is always love others as you would want them to love you.
Love of God is number one.

Carry on with spreading the word of our saviour Jesus Christ. tell 3 people you love and care and have them tell 3 people and so on down the line. Its amazing how quick all will be loved and cared for by our heavenly father.

I always stood by the “underdog.” I knew what it felt like. I was laughed at for standing up for my clean values. I stood straight and tall when defending someone who was being picked on. I am a small person, but I guess my determination had them back off as they sensed that I meant it. I still stand by them, even to this day. GOD always is with me and I appreciate His standing by me. Thank you GOD, always. Have courage for your convictions everyone… Love ya’
