In Oct 2000 my oldest son got married , Feb 2001 my husband and I found out we were going to be grandparents for the first time by this married son . In Mar 2001 my husband of almost 31 yr went home SUDDENLY to be with Jesus . May 2001 my youngest son graduated from high school , July 2001 he went off to his Freshman yr of college . Aug 2001 I became a grandmother for the first time , a beautiful baby boy . So my whole house was an empty nest all at one time ......... 2 1/2 yrs passed and I meant a wonderful man who had lost his wife in Dec 2000 just as suddenly and in the same way as I had lost my spouse ..... we were married in 2004 ....... after celebrating 5 yr together he ask for a divorce in Aug of this yr .......when I ask him if we could go for counseling he said NO , IT IS NOT FIXABLE and I DON't WANT TO FIX IT .......... with that being said I then agreed to GIVING him his last gift from me a DIVORCE not what I want but I must let him FLY and be FREE ....... during this time frame I have a twin brother who is not well due to cancer ....... GOD's timing is perfect I understand that part .......but I get home today to find a Birthday card from my soon to be ex that is signed Love *** ......... some things are never understood in God's big world but someday I will understand it ALL . Until then I will continue to take risk and glean what I can from the Lord during the situation ........ praying that it all allows me to be a better person tomorrow because of today .
