I love my dreams.I can sometimes visit with my precious son,DAVID,who was beaten to death and robbed of “$13.00″,while on his way to bible study.They were fools.All they would have had to do would have been to call me.I would have given them my car,my home or whatever they wanted,no questions asked.But his beautiful face never leaves my mind.
I wrote something for him and had it engraved in a gold plate and mounted on a slab of dark cherry wood.
It read as follows===
“THE DAY MY DAVID DIED”
The Sun Bowed Down It’s Mournful Head
And Cried Great Drops Of Tears.
My Heart Was Crushed Inside My Chest
With Grief Too Great To Bear
I Know My Screams Were Surly Heard
From The East Into The West
And Darkness Fell Upon The Earth
THE DAY MY DAVID DIED.
The Day My DAVID Died.
I love And Miss You,Son,MOM

Rachel, I feel the love you have for David and it’s sad to hear about what happen. It is hard for anyone to deal with and I just can only pray that God always comfort you and let David visite you spiritually in your dreams. I thank you for sharing, and it ministers to us, to enjoy each day with God like it’s the last.
