An Interview With God

I dreamed I had an interview with God.
“Come in,” God said. “So, you would like to interview Me?”
“If you have the time,” I said.
God smiled and said: “My time is eternity and is enough to do everything; What questions do you have in mind to ask me?”
“What surprises you most about mankind?”
God answered:
“That they get bored of being children, are in a rush to grow up, and then long to be children again.
“That they lose their health to make money and then lose their money to restore their health.
“That by thinking anxiously about the future, they forget the present, such that they live neither for the present nor the future.
“That they live as if they will never die, and they die as if they had never lived.”
God’s hands took mine and we were silent for awhile and then I asked…
“As a parent, what are some of life’s lessons you want your children to learn?”
God replied with a smile:
“To learn that they cannot make anyone love them. What they can do is to let themselves be loved.
“To learn that what is most valuable is not what they have in their lives, but who they have in their lives.
“To learn that it is not good to compare themselves to others. All will be judged individually on their own merits, not as a group on a comparison basis!
“To learn that a rich person is not the one who has the most, but is one who needs the least.
“To learn that it only takes a few seconds to open profound wounds in persons we love, and that it takes many years to heal them.
“To learn to forgive by practicing forgiveness.
“To learn that there are persons that love them dearly, but simply do not know how to express or show their feelings.
“To learn that money can buy everything but happiness.
“To learn that two people can look at the same thing and see it totally different.
“To learn that a true friend is someone who knows everything about them…and likes them anyway.
“To learn that it is not always enough that they be forgiven by others, but that they have to forgive themselves.”
I sat there for awhile enjoying the moment. I thanked Him for his time and for all that He has done for me and my family, and He replied, “Anytime. I’m here 24 hours a day. All you have to do is ask for me, and I’ll answer.”

Hi…This is beautiful, but I feel that it is probably supposed to be accompanied by music. If so, I am unable to hear it and would like to know if there is something else I am suppose to download. Thank you for the lovely thoughts, Debbie

That was a touching moment for me and it tells me that wealth is not everything and that God’s kind of wealth is what we need and is sufficient for all of us.

We serve an awesome God and so often do we forget that as human beings. Least we should take the time to stop and smell the roses and give thanks to our God for all the beauty. What a wonderful poem and fantastic music. Thanks for sharing.

Most people would think that money can answer all things, but there is a price to pay for the money when we put it the center of our life. This website is great! I dreamed I had an interview with God several times. Sometimes I will spend a lot time with God alone, and I tell my wonderful wife if she need me just come sit by my side or I will come to her. I love it when we both are sitting together and talking with God. Barry I been doing that today also and I encourage you to keep it up, in the name of Jesus!

Patric…God knows who r u? but this is true too that you might be a god of her centuary..who u mentioned about..’WICKE….AS SAME TYPE OF NASTY PEOPLE R HERE ,JUST HERE, and it depends on a person..one should have an ability to change ownself..so he/she can see clearly without a blurry vision.As do not plant a cactus so later you can get tehm only ,instead of flowers.WORLD is a beautiful ,but wicked b women and lusty garbage men make it a hell.Hope you care for not a hell..right?

When I talk with GOD, He listens and He doesn’t interupt and patiently waits for me to finish what I want to say…
When I get impatient for something to happen, I stop and say to myself, GOD is in control and charge and even though I may not like the answer He gives, He is still in control and charge of everything…and then I let go and give it to GOD. Thank you beloved GOD… Blessings…Elizabeth W.

Adewunmi: I also have wondered why some people who seem wicked live such long lives…Then I thought of the saying “hell on earth” and maybe these “wicked” people are really living in hell on this earth and are extremely unhappy, while the good and kind are really living in a Heaven on earth and know that they will go to GOD at the end of their life…Hmmmmmmmm something to think about…Is there an answer ?
I myself would rather be good and kind…

Yes..really “wicked ‘ PEOPLE SHOUILD DIE AND NEVER BE FORGIVEN BY GOD.GOD BLESS YOU AND GIVE YOU LONG LIFE IF YOU WISH FOR SOME ONE TO DIE.Death is permanent; not life.Learn to live life..not lusty way …but with morals.As without understanding God and his creation..what can I say more..as some people are blind.Now if you really pray to God..you would understand.Do not watch people in their home..or do not follow outside.As bad and dirty monsters are doing this.Sinners always peeps.at others.Look at you faults.God bless you..and give a peace of mind to you.So called care givers are garbage and unwanted stupid.
