God’s gifted us with many things
From twinkling stars to the bird that sings
The sun in the morning is a gift
It makes us smile and gives us a lift
The gifts of raindrops and of snow
Help to make all things grow
When we’re depressed and feeling down
The gift of laughter gets rid of a frown
The gift of family far and near
Keeps us focused and gives us cheer
A wonderful gift that comes from above
Is the heavenly gift of God’s sweet love
The greatest gift, which God doles
Is the gift of our immortal souls
We’ve all been blessed with gifts galore
Give praise to God and appreciate them more
