I said a prayer for you today
And I know God must have heard -
I felt the answer in my heart
Although He spoke no word.
I didn’t ask for wealth or fame -
(I knew you wouldn’t mind)-
I asked him to send treasures
Of a far more lasting kind!
I asked that He’d be near you
At the start of each new day
To grant you health and blessings
And friends to share your way.
I asked for happiness for you
In all things great and small,
But it was for His loving care
I prayed the most of all.

I said a prayer for you today, to ease the burden you had at work, and to guide you in your everydat task. May GOD, Bless you and keep you in HIS care , but most of all I pray that GOD will strengthen our Love deep in our hearts always and forever. Thank God that we can always come and talk to Him through prayer, and He always to talk to us by reading His Word. The greatest things in this world is when the Lord by his mercy and grace open our hearts and mind to know that He is God, the creator of all things. He is beyond our comprehension…… He is our maker we’re the potter.

This is a prayer that should be shared with all that you know and a silent prayer for all that you don’t. I have heard this many times before, but still love it and say it in my mind and hold it dear in my heart. Thank you and God bless. This prayer is for everyone.

Sandi: I agree with you.
I always liked the name ‘Sandi’ until I met a girl named ‘Sandi’ who tried her best to hurt me with her morbid stories about my best friend in front of my family. Anyways, this was so childish on my part to get upset with her name. It really is a sweet name. Friendship is different from other relationships. The best ship is ‘Friendship’ and true friends lay down their lives for each other. The ff. is one of my favourite stories.
Sand and Stone!
A story tells of two friends who were walking through the desert. During some point of the journey, they had an argument, and one friend slapped the other one in the face. The one who got slapped was hurt, but without saying anything, she wrote in the sand:
“TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SLAPPED ME IN THE FACE”
They kept on walking, until they found an oasis, where they decided to take a bath. The one who had been slapped got stuck in the mire and started drowning, but her friend saved her. After she recovered from the near drowning, she wrote on a stone:
“TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SAVED MY LIFE”
The friend, who had slapped and saved her best friend, asked her, “After I hurt you, you wrote in the sand, and now, you write on a stone, why?”
The other friend replied: “When someone hurts us, we should write it down in sand, where the winds of forgiveness can erase it, but when someone does something good for us, we must engrave it in stone, so no wind can ever erase it.”

I wish I was this Lucky schoolgirl who has lost so MANY INCHES.

I loved this prayer you sent at the right time since I am still having a hard time with Camden’s (my 5yr old grandson) death. I have tried to go on with my life because of Clayton (my other grandson who is eight) Camden passed away a year ago March22,2009. It seems like yesterday. Thank you for the prayer. I was all so ‘Starry-Eyed’ and thought that the road to Heaven was as easy as ABC. Whilst reciting most confidently at Bible Study, I heard a kind and gentle
voice whisper into my ear the ff. words:
“Prayer is not a spare wheel
that you pull out
when you are in trouble.
You see it as a steering wheel
that keeps you on the
right path through out your life”.
Well, I had to face the reality.
I only knew about GOD in theory.
I did not experience GOD.
This did not discourage me. It encouraged me to work harder towards
experiencing GOD and with GOD anything is possible. He just might touch my head and I will be transformed into a beautiful swan that enters His chambers at will and vice versa. Everyone has an individual relationship with GOD and only
GOD knows the status of our soul.
Spirituality is for the Valiant…It is not for cowards . Nothing should come in Your
way re. making headway to Your final destination. Even if people want to criticize You/ laugh at Your Dreams of being in GOD’s arms, dont be angry with them. Forgive them for they know not what they say. They view everything
from an intellectual/critical point of view. So dont worry…keep your eye
on the ball and focus on winning all the way to God’s Gaden of Love. At the end of the day, it has nothing to do with them and their comments, it’s all between You and HIM !
