In the late 30s, 40s and 50s, patriotism was at its highest. God speed to the people of that time.

I never tire of hearing this gentleman’s story and love this judge’s response to his service. God bless them both, and all the others who served. Those who came back and those who did not. We owe them a big debt of gratitude.

Loved this, these were some of the people that I grew up with in “THE AMERICA I REMEMBER”.
It is so very Sad as to how much our Great Country has changed.especially just how little
Our Own CHILDREN of today, “AS WELL AS many FOREIGNORS who come to our Great Country, actually have no Knowledge of all the Sacrifices that were Made for Us and Country. As Well Just How Many Men and Women Fought and Died for Us All And Should Always Be Remembered.
“GOD BLESS AMERICA”

Had to watch and listen to this again. Amazing stories I am sure he could tell. Kudos again to this judge. My family and my husband’s – losing oldest brother in WWII – we have all branches covered and we are proud of that. As we are of all who have served. God Bless you all.

What a wonderful story with this veteran. God bless him and God bless this judge. We so need more compassionate judges, as this gentleman is.

Love this story, brought tears to my eyes. What a great memory for someone his age!! I too had a brother in the Navy in World War two, God bless all those who have served in the past and died protecting us(RIP) and those who are still serving to keep us all safe, like my boyfriend would say “Hoorah!” (also a veteran Army airborne ranger 1997-2003 retired)
