I watched this clip and was totally amazed by Evelyn’s great health and her ability to help her friends and to go after something she knew she could still do. God has blessed this woman and blessed all those who know her. I ‘m sure she helps every one she can. I am only 63 and can not do anything hardly do to incurable leukemia. My husbands grandmother was Hawaiian and when she passed she was 114. She did very well considering she was blind at birth. God is good isn’t he?

Gram,
God has blessed you in your old age, what you have been doing at your age is a mystery no one can understand especially in our time and age. Never mind the license they took from you, may be its time for people to be driving you around. You can still use your strength for other things, you can still glorify God for His goodness towards you,you can still give us tips, advise counsel etc.. Its good to know there is someone like you who can do incredible things at your age. Keep it up!! May
God continue to Bless you

I think it’s great that you are physically & mentally able to drive Evelyn! I know that you realize what a
Blessing that is for you and for the people that you help, who don’t have anyone or are not able to drive
etc… You seem to be such a beautiful lady and trying to do what God wants us to do and that is to Love
people and give of ourselves…May God continue to Bless you Evelyn and I truly enjoyed your Video honey!
Sincerely, Annis Raine

Evelyn, God certainly has/is still blessing you, just like me. I’ll be 82 come October, widowed since 2008, with hopes of continuing to remain self-sufficient in my own home. My entire family are out of state, and I can no longer fly as a result of numerous ear surgeries. Without my license, I’d hate to think what would become of me? Like you, (so far) have a clean license since age 16. I’m not one to be dependent on neighbors – they also have their own lives. God bless you, always and in all ways.

Evelyn, you are just like I plan to be! I will be 85 in July and have NO plans to quit driving. I still drive (alone with my little dog) from Washington state to my home in Baja Mex. every September and return in June. I love to drive and have been doing it since I was 12, and have never had a serious accident. Drove my Motor home alone til I sold it couple of years ago. As long as we are capable and safe, why should we quit just because of “the numbers”??

There are many challenging times in our lives and there are times that when we feel hopeless. But there are always happy times when we stop and count our blessings. So by reflecting on the blessings you do have that help your attitude on dealing with the situation you are in. By counting your blessings, it makes your life easier to help even at your age.
My wish for you… May you see and be thankful for all the blessings you had and may many more comes your way. You inspired me to continue driving until I reach your age and be helpful to others too. God bless you and keep you safe always.

I think this is wonderful. She can still help others and this will keep her active to keep going. I have an aunt and she is the same age and her birthday is the same month. She never did learn to drive a car, but she is still active and was always good about helping others. Keep going Evelyn and be careful around other drivers.

Well Evelyn, God Bless you that you are still able to drive and be safe about your driving. My mother-in-law lost her license at 87. She had a hard time adjusting to the fact that she couldn’t drive any longer. Once we had moved her to a senior housing, her old neighbors told us how she would just pull up and get out of the car, and they would have to go get her keys and re park the car. She also never had an accident, but after having knee replacement and being released by the Dr. to drive again, I let her drive for a few blocks. She ran 3 stop signs in a town that she had lived in for 60 years. Needless to say, it wasn’t long before the license was pulled. So Evelyn, happy driving to you, but just be extra careful as there are a lot of nuts out there.
