I have listened to Jim Reeves since the 1950’s. I never grow tired of his singing, especially at Christmas time.
Now with Alexa, we listen to him more than ever. He is better than most of today’s singers. He will “Never grow old”.
The one Christmas song that always makes me cry is I’ll Be Home For Christmas. Since my parents are both deceased, it’s especially poignant. We always had Christmas at home – my parents’ home. It was a great family tradition and we loved it! Dad would make a HUGE pot of goulash and Ma would make about 100 dozen Christmas cookies and we’d eat supper, then cookies and milk for HOURS around the kitchen table. It was the best!!!! Traditions are very important!!!!!
