She completed the course in 1978 and has been volunteering at the Liberty, Maine Fire Department ever since; even inspiring generations after her to continue the tradition. Edna, God has given the world a gift in your name for the accomplishment in your life. I met your Granddaughter Mary when my partner was having iron IV therapy and she told me about you. My Grandson is a Para-medic and I know how important EMT’s are . Thank you for the service you give.

Kudos Edna! My 17 yr old grandson is training to be an EMT through his High School JTEC program. I have to share this with him so he can see what a long career is possible for him. God Bless you and keep you safe and healthy. You are a real roll model.
