I once purchased a 1930 Chevrolet at a service station in Opelika, Al for $195.00. It was equipped with what they called a superior 6 engine, There was about 4″ of cast iron block between the front 3 and rear 3 pistons. It also had a honeycomb radiator, lug type wheels, oak door posts, aluminum fly wheel housing and other interesting features– different from the Ford models of that era. Everything was original except the fuel pump which had been changed to an elect. type. When it went out near Greenville, Al. the wrecker driver found a cam activated original model with price tag of $3.26. That’s what the local Chevrolet dealer charged for it. Should have never let it slip away, but after the engine blew I had to move on. War Eagle.

I was fortunate enough to have briefly, a ’52 Mercedes 220 that was subject to forced marriage of a prewar body style to a postwar 220 chassis. I drove/owned it for about a year, and lost it in bankruptcy.
Marvelous car, external continental type spare, bud vases, blinds on all but drivers window, full sunshine roof,Bosch horns, directionals on the horn ring…. Exceptional car a G.I. brought home from Europe.

The first Ford was made by Henry Ford in his wife’s kitchen sink. If I remember correctly it was in 1903. This information come from a book on the life of Henry Ford. I gave a speech in College on the Ford’s and Henry Ford. In my opinion, the Ford truck and cars are the best automobile made. I drive Ford F-150 Super Cab. Fuel Injected. I Love Trucks. We use to collect antique cars and trucks. We had some that looked just like those in the barn. I sure would like to have some like them now.

The plural of Ford is Fords, not Ford’s. Basic English.

forty years would be back in the 1970’s…these are much older cars…story sounds kind of made up, using a bunch of authentic old cars. I doubt this is accurate.

From what I see, these cars are from a MUCH EARLIER TIME. I would estimate to be in the VERY EARLY 1900’s, or possibly earlier than that. Definitely antique vintage cars, thus collector cars.

WOW – What a GORGEOUS collection of automobiles – Just to have only ONE of the collection would be a major find. I would really like to see them after they have been cleaned up. Thanks for the video
