Thanksgiving Prayer
Even though I clutch my blanket and growl when the alarm rings each morning, thank you, Lord, that I can hear. There are many who are deaf.
Even though I keep my eyes tightly closed against the morning light as long as possible, thank you Lord, that I can see. There are many who are blind.
Even though I huddle in my bed and put off the effort of rising, thank you, Lord that I have the strength to rise. There are many who are bedridden.
Even though the first hour of my day is hectic, when socks are lost, toast is burned, and tempers are short, thank you, Lord, for my family. There are many who are lonely.
Even though our breakfast table never looks like the pictures in magazines and the menu is at times unbalanced, thank you, Lord for the food we have. There are many who have no job.
Even though I grumble and bemoan my fate from day to day and wish my circumstances were not so modest, thank you, Lord, for the gift of life.

Pray, praise and give thanks always. God is pleased to hear and answer all His children, just as an earthly father wishes to grant his children’s requests. Amen, Come Lord Jesus!

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything.
Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.

Even tho we sometime grumble and cry out about our lives and the way our economy is going and blame it all on our politians, we must realize we live in the most desirable country in the world. Let us all STOP and look around us and see what GOD has alowed us to have. Granted, we sometime forget about what we do have but let us share what we have and with others and let them know what GOD has
done for US and how His LOVE must be shared. When we take our eyes off GOD we will stumble around always complaining and get nowhere. So let us give thanks to GOD on this Thanksgiving day.

I knocked on the door and it was opened to me and I did enter. There was much glitter and joy to behold. As I wandered through the maze and the brightness of these new found pleasures I did indulge and partake of the pleasures to be had, but how soon did these wonders, which promised so much, begin to tarnish and fade. It was then that I heard a knock on the door. I opened it and behold there was a light that entered and a voice spoke to me saying, ” I am the way, the truth, and the life. Come dine with me, for I have been with you always and will never leave you”. I gave thanks and have continued to receive the blessings of my LORD AND SAVIOUR CHRIST JESUS.
I PRAY THAT OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR CHRIST JESUS CONTINUES TO BLESS THIS GREAT NATION ON THIS COMING DAY OF THANKS !

Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD;
let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.
Let us come before him with thanksgiving
and extol him with music and song.

Hey, I am so thankful for the reason that you chose to communicate and mourn with us during thanks giving day instead of going out with your lads. God bless you abundantly.

Hi Bev, having the Lord in my life has given me so much peace. My prayer is that the ones lost out there, including some of my family members would seek him out.
You tell Paul that I am so proud of him.
Happy Thanksgiving,

This is beautiful and makes so much sense.I understand it very well. My son is hearing impaired and my family don’t bother with me. I have the Lord and my internet friends that keep my life together and so grateful. On this day of Thanksgiving I am so grateful for the blessings that I have. My smart son even with his difficulties on the deans list and that makes my life great right there. Have a great Thanksgiving .
