A Christmas Eve Blessing
May you be blessed this Christmas Eve –
as you gather around your Christmas tree,
with family or friends you hold so dear –
in song or laughter, or Christmas cheer.
May you be blessed with every wish –
that was written on your Christmas list,
May you be granted peace on earth –
as you contemplate our Savior’s birth.
May every prayer that you did say –
be answered for you in every way,
with grateful hearts for health and peace –
for happiness that will never cease.
May the Christmas spirit that you share –
resound your feelings of joy and care,
giving smiles and lots of hugs –
warm embraces of Christmas love!

Yes, Carol and Benjamin, I too have felt why do these happen??? Have you ever heard the words, Heaven on
earth and the words, Hell on earth??? I have known some of these people that are “mean” to others and have learned that they are living in Hell on earth and in reality, want to be loved, but aren’t. That is not to say that they are right, far from it… GOD has given us a choice, to know right from wrong. It is up to you to decide what path to take…Stand FIRM in your faith, and don’t let anyone shake you from it… Stand with JESUS and take His hand, firmly… I never will be perfect, but I won’t let anybody take my belief away from me… I have often been tested and JESUS won !!!
Blessings… Elizabeth W.

This is so enlightening..The real meaning of Christmas is not commercial at all..We must remember this, as we scurry around buying and stressing about the Christmas Season..

If Christ was to speak publicly, today, about the plight of the world, what, indeed, would be His statement? The language that Christ spoke in His time has become so deteriorated and twisted over time, that even the word “Love” doesn’t seem to mean what it did to Jesus, when He spoke to His followers. Does love have a particular way of “earning” itself, or is love available to all, regardless of what they do? All of us do good deeds and bad deeds, and therefore, where does love come into all of this, especially the love that Jesus spoke of, and that is referred to so much in the Christian gospels? With all the evil, commercialism, and hurt these days, it’s still hard to believe the words: “For God so loved the world…”

it’s so true that christmas has been a financial blast for the business owners, and has nothing to do with the birth of Christ. The bible doesn’t list any particular date for his birth, but it does say the sheep were grazing while the shepherds tended their flock. now we know this is when the grass is green, and usually this time of year it’s cold or snow is on the grown. There’s so many people that go into debt so deep that they committ suicude afterwards. Christ is about love, and not material things. This is a time for the merchants to” cha-ching “all the way to the bank, and care less for the struggles of anyone. Christ is the reason for everyday of the year, not just seasonal times. I’ve seen the red carpet rolled out on thanksgiving and christmas for the homeless, following those 2 times they are released to the streets, and I so have a serious problem with that. It goes back to say that love has no boundary nor time limit, for if it was set up like that, why did Christ suffer as he did for the sins of everyone? This has to be re-evaluated by individuals everywhere, because the truth has to be proclaimed. God is true to his every word, and he’s not partial to anyone.
