Forgiveness
To forgive
Is not to forget.
To forgive
Is really to remember,
That nobody is perfect,
That each of us stumbles
When we want so much to stay upright,
That each of us says things
We wish we had never said,
That we can all forget that love
Is more important than being right.
To forgive
Is really to remember,
That we are so much more
Than our mistakes,
That we are often more kind and caring
Than we think we are,
That accepting another’s flaws
Can help us accept our own.
To forgive
Is to remember,
That the odds are pretty good that
We might soon need to be forgiven ourselves,

I just finished reading “The Plainsman” by Lori Copeland, a christian author.
It was all about forgiveness and the author of E-Women spoke on forgiveness
today also. Seems someone is trying to tell me something. What to you think?

I went through so much hurt by my x husband from mental abuse to u name it. I finally found it in my heart to say I forgive you…..even as cruel as he was to me I have to admit it ws not easy, but if GOD forgives us why can’t we forgive those who hurt us……its a great feeling to get it off ur chest and GOD knows I did the right thing…..My heart feels so pure forgiveness is a great joy with in yourself.

how is it that we ask god everyday to forgive up but we can forgive people who us, in order for god to forgive us we have to forgive other it’s in gods word that’s an must, love ye one another that’s the key to forgiveness.

Forgiveness is important but atimes is very hard to do to us human being but wht d belive in d fath of jesus its posible . That is why am using dis medium oppourtunity to ask GOD in d name of jesus cristh to forgive as 4m hearth forgiving any whom it may be who am not forgivim before. so have forgive u people whom have oath not to do. also jesus should give me d power doing so . . . forgiveness is a form of relief when you really practice it . when you forgive others the automatic request to God is “and forgive me too as i have forgiven others. such is life . no one is perfect. we all make mistakes.

Sometimes I remember a hurt, but I immediately remember that I have already
forgiven them, and go on to think of the good times with them and all is well.
Forgiveness is BEAUTIFUL. (I hope that all the hurts I have given out are
forgiven by the people and animals that I have hurt.) I really didn’t mean it.
GOD let them know that I honestly love them… thank you Heavenly Father.
