I really find your comments very inspiring and I enjoy reading them. You are a very beautiful lady and I will strive to follow in your footsteps. You have been truly blessed.
May God continue to Bless you, your family and your pets.
Ms Sheilla Rose …
Yes, a sense of humor is very good for everybody… I bought a book by Milton Berle of Jokes and I read one a day
to keep my sense of humor… In fact, I am reading it for the second time, (It has 10,000 jokes in it.) Any kind of clean joke books will do. I am in my eighties and feel blessed after watching the TV news of the problems of other people… “Rest if you must, but DO NOT QUIT.”
Blessings… Elizabeth W.
My dear, Sue…I am very touched you know our Nadia Comaneci…but I have to correct you…she is not russian but romanian gymnast…and yes…she was the first gymnast of 10.
Thank you…for remembering she…
Thank to the author of that wonderful poem…
The song playing is called “Nadias Song” for Nadia komaneche, the russian gymnast in the 1980s. What a very beautiful and moving “Striving For Change”, we have all been there and we are very lucky that we have the Lord to help guide us and carry us if necessary.
Striving for Change. This has been a pattern throughout my life. I’ve felt powerless to solve difficult situations time and time again. Here I am in my late 70’s still trying to deal with another difficult situation. Knowing that I can’t wish it away, I’ve had to learn patience and find outlets to keep my mind off my problems and, above all, try to maintain a sense of humor inspite of everythingl.
