I’m sorry that you didn’t have a chance to say these words to your mother before she passed. But I’m certain that she is looking down from heaven and thanking you for the special words that you wrote here today. Someday you will be reunited with her in heaven my friend, and know that you can share these beautiful words and feelings with her at that time. For now be grateful that you are able to think about her, write the words and still love her. Not everyone, such as I, can do that. I know my mother never loved me, so I never really understood or knew any mother’s love, except what I tried to give and portray to my step-children and adopted son. But I have failed because I never learned the art of the kind of mother’s love that I so longed for. I love each of my children, but the feeling isn’t mutual and it breaks my heart by each passing day. They’ll only know what they loss once I’m gone. I hope they get the message at my passing just how much I truly love them and miss the recipercation of their love.
Your words were beautiful as always. Have a beautiful Mother’s Day!
This was beautiful. I wish I had said those words to my mother. I can whisper them in a prayer for her. She went to heaven on June 25 of last year and I miss her every day. I Love You Mom.<3
