Jewel, my most heartfelt thanks for your mail to me. I know God was with me on Mother’s Day, at 6:00 a.m., my cell phone went off….my son wrote…Happy Mother’s Day Mom, I love you! Wasn’t expecting that, nor, was I expecting a phone call at 2:30 p.m. when he said “Mom are you home?” He probably knew that I was going to leave the house, go to a park, take a walk, bring a book and read in the car until it was dark enough to go home. I’m happy I didn’t miss his call, he and his girlfriend came by with the biggest balloon that I have ever seen in my life, that sings when you tap it…it sings “HOW SWEET IT IS BEING LOVED BY YOU.” and they brought a beautiful bouquet of flowers in a vase, with a touching Mother’s Day card. I wept, they couldn’t stay long as they were going to his girlfriend’s mother’s cemetary before it closed. He and she both text me in the car, and will be here tomorrow night for dinner since we couldn’t spend any time together on Mother’s Day. That’s all I really wanted Jewel, to be remembered, respected and loved….God heard my prayer and stopped me from going out. Everything happens for a reason, for whatever reason, I felt that love on Sunday and it meant more than words can ever say. Thank you again for your loving, caring words, it meant a great deal to me in a way you will never know. God bless you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to write to me.
Lola, my heart go’s out to you and Jesus feels your sorrow and pain for He is right there holding you, at least that is what I believe the Word tell’s us and I believe it is so. Look to Jesus for your peace with in and your healing. If it is any comfort, you are not alone there are many precious mom’s out there with the same heart ache. May God bless you.
As beautiful as all these sentiments are for Mother’s Day, I can’t read anymore. My heart is breaking, I wish I was loved as a mother the way everyone is writing here. For each thing written here about mother’s I just cry over and over, so I can’t continue reading anymore about anything written for Mother’s or for Mother’s Day. I wish I could feel the love and respect each of you have encountered. I’m a mother, but somewhere I failed along the line. Forgive me everyone, your sentiments are beautiful, you are all so very lucky to be blessed with wonderful mothers. I wasn’t. And even though I tried to be better and give my unconditional love to my children, I failed. That being said…Happy Mother’s Day to one and all. God bless you and have a beautiful day.
