Catch your breath as you fly in the sky with your mind… Think of the glorious things that you can see…
“If You Could Fly” is truly a happy, carefree uplifting video… Thank you …
This Beauty is beyond words to describe it. It would be so wonderful to be able to fly with the birds and see all the beauty that God has given us and as the birds see it.
Due to health problems, I haven’t been able to do much lately. I do look at my email almost every day but haven’t felt well enough to write my NetHugs comments, etc. Thank you for your interest in my wildlife stories. I do have a few to share and will do so if and when I feel better. Thank you for remembering me, I do appreciate the interest you’ve shown in my stories.

IF YOU CAN, TRY TO PURCHASE A BINOCULAR AND LIFE GETS MORE EXCITING.

Dear Elizabeth Wright, I’m so sorry to be so late replying to your lovely message about feeding the birds. It’s wonderful to be able to watch the birds from my window while sitting at the computer! I have one feeder which is squirrel proof and hung high enough that the squirrels can’t get a perch or footing to attack it. Also, I have a second feeder with a platform for the squirrels to use and enjoy at their leisure. I’ve always loved and respected our wildlife and have been guilty of sharing treats with them for many, many years. There are so many wildlife stories of mine that I will try to share over the coming months that might be of interest to you and other subscribers to NETHUGS. Thanks for including me in your prayers – you are very thoughtful and kind and appreciative. The world could use more lovely women like you.
GOD BLESS YOU SHEILLA…
YOU WILL BE IN MY PRAYERS PERMANENTLY TONIGHT.
WATCHING THE BIRDS AND FEEDING THEM IS SUCH A DELIGHT, ISN’T IT???
THEY SURE DO MAKE THEIR NESTS IN ODD PLACES AND SEEM TO BE CONTENT IN THEM.
I HAVE NAMED ONE CHICKADEE “LILLY”, AFTER OUR DOG NAMED LILLY AS THEY BOTH HAVE SUCH A
HUGH APPETITE… WHERE DO THEY PUT IT???
ENJOY YOUR BIRD WATCHING SHEILLA…
In friendship, Elizabeth W.
Before my accident, which left me crippled, I lived in the apartment above mine on the 2nd floor. From that vantage point I could watch the birds and squirrels unobstructed and I left seeds for them in the feeders on my balcony. (I didn’t have to screen my windows for the sake of privacy!) Prior to moving into this apartment complex, I had a 3rd floor apartment which provided a great view of the wildlife in the back yard. One day as I was sitting on the couch, looking towards the picture window, I saw 2 Anoles (which look like the Gecko on the Geico commercial) walking across the glass!! When it was warm enough to enjoy sitting outside on the balcony, I discovered that the Anoles had moved into the potted plants on my balcony and the balcony on the 2nd floor. The male, resplendent in his “gecko green” skinned body and rosy colored chin flap, would warm himself up on the railing around Noon. After warming his cold blooded body in the afternoon he would make his way down, about halfway, to the 2nd floor, where he would go into his mating display, bobbing his head and flashing his neck flap. Within minutes, as I looked to my left, I saw the object of his affection come up from the 2nd floor, as she approached he turned to greet her. They spent the rest of the afternoon making love! It was quite a revelation! They coupled upside down, standing upright against the corner post and resting on top of the railing!! Later, one of their babies made its way into my apartment and was hiding next the entryway baseboard. Seeing me was too much! Terrified, the poor little creature made a quick escape.
