This is a special day. Not only for the Fathers here on earth but our Heavenly Father and our own earthly Fathers that have gone on to Heaven. I still wish my Dad, Happy Father’s Day in Heaven. I wish he was here where I could tell him that in person but, he has been gone many years, so I can only remember him as he was before God took him home. Thank You for sharing this Father’s Day memory.
I must add also I forgot to say my hubby has worked many hours too for me and our family .. so am very grateful for that.. a blessing for sure , and as a dad too, always found time in between working hard to spend time with his family and his/our son.. I am 775 years old now and although I lost my own dad young have had many blessings as well..
Very lovely thank you..for sharing.. myself I never knew my dad/much.. he died when I was only six years old.. I have one or two nice memories of him not many.. on was walking in the snow holding hands together.. going back home.. that always stays/sticks in my mind ..
A very touching Fathers Day message and it is so true. They strive to set great examples for their children to follow in their footsteps. My Dad has been gone since 1980 and have loving memories of him.
My Dad is not here now, but I can truly say, I have not forgotten his love for me.
I look for that in all men and respect them when I see how much they love their children.
Men, Please step up to your part in their lives and give your child a living memorial.

The poem is written about a man,
my husband and father to our children .,
Who at nearly 74 years old still works full time
A carpentar by trade , has worked hard all his life for his family .
Thanks to NETHUGS.. His love for his family was beautifully portrayed!
Happy Fathers Day, my love !!

God is love, God made the family and when I read beautiful words like those from Shannon and her Mom it revives my faith in the continuity of family love and the respect that spirituality yields to the joys and labors of parenting. May God bless your family and a special blessing to the father of this family.
Thank you sweet girl!! My tears are grateful !! My Love immense
Not only for you , Shannon my child!!
But for the father you love , the man that I love and your sisters and brothers that
I also adore!!
God has blessed our family,
Mom
This poem describes every bit of my father and how much he loved and worked hard for me and my siblings….and I am lucky enough to have a mother who can put it into words. Thanks mom and dad!
Dearest Linda, I am so very sorry and deeply saddened for your loss..
I am glad your father loved you in the way my poem described..
May God give you comfort during this time of sorrow and grief..
It is hard to lose someone as dear as a loving father..
My Loving Heartfelt Prayers,
Patsy
I just lost my Dad recently and he was all of the things you read above and still is watching over me, so do appreciate your Dad’s as you never know when that day comes and you have no card to send!!!
This is a wonderful tribute to a Father. It truly says most or all the things a Father does and deserves. I don’t have a father who is affectionate but I can say thank you and give him a sweet card and make him a cake from scratch and hopefully he will know that even though I can’t write words like this if I get a card I am trying to find the words just closest to my heart that say what I feel and the small act of making his favorite dessert will let him know that he is loved. You did a great job with this card. The Father who you wrote it for I’m sure is really blessed and deserves the best Father’s DAy possible. Happy Father’s Day to all the Dad’s out there. May God Bless You for all your love and leading your family to see God in the flesh.
