Thank you my dear husband Walt and son Robert.. And lets not forget Uncle Bob who was shot down
and then brought home to be with his family. He will never be forgotten..

Thanks to the people that put this togather . It is a wonderful reminder of what MEMORIAL DAY is all about. Especially for an old – U S A F RETIRED MEMBER- AND VERY PROUD OF EACH DAY OF THE 23 YEARS, 10 MONTHS , AND 10 DAYS THAT I WAS ABLE TO SERVE – OUR COUNTRY. I hope that my small cotrabution , is a strong thread in the fabric that has held OUR COUMTRY FREE FOR THE 55 YEARS SINCE
THE DAY -21 MARCH 1955- THAT I AGREED TO SERVE MY COUNTRY , ANY WHERE , ANY WAY, ALL THE TIME.
Now, that’s why I am so proud when I see the reminder ( the rows of white crosses) each ONE of the MILITARY MEMBERS THAT PAID THE SUPREME SACRIFICE , JUST SO THAT WE COULD ALL STAND PROUD
and salute out symbol of what AMERICA IS AND STANDS FOR !!
AFTER 26 YEARS TOTAL SERVICE AND 2 SEPARATE TOURS IN VIETNAM, AM PROUD TO BE A LIFE-LONG PART OF THIS USA, SORROWFUL FOR THE CURRENT LEADERSHIP, BUT MOST PROUD TO BE A MEMBER OF OUR GOD’S TEAM AND GRATEFUL BEYOND WORDS FOR OUR LORD JESUS AND CALVARY, KNOWING THAT “SOON AND VERY SOON” HE’S COMING TO TAKE THOSE OF US READY (MATT.24:44)……HOME, FOR ALL ETERNITY-BRO.ED EICKE
