I lost my companion 6 months at age 14. I am grateful for this time with her. She gave me so much and made me a better person. It is time to start again to honor what she meant to me. She would be happy. Thanks for this beautiful story.

What a wonderful story!!. To think that he nutrition place just told him to adopt an overweight dog so they both would lose weight and become healthy is so unique that he listened and that he found Peety and that he lost all he weight and was able to go off his medication and when he lost Peety that he knew he needed another dog to run with and stay healthy. Just proves that if you find the right animal they can keep you healthy and be wonderful company for you if you live alone.

What a beautiful story. I am so happy for Eric I hope he is still doing well. I can relate to taking in abandoned animals. I have two cats, brother and sister, Teddy and Sacha. They give me so much pleasure and unconditional love which a lot of humans find hard to do. I have had them 13 years now and do not look forward to that dreaded day when I will have to say “goodbye.’ God bless you Eric for sharing your heartwarming story. Alison

This story brought tears to my eyes. So amazing and heartwarming. My cat found me in Texas. I was standing by the picket fence surrounding the exterior, talking to a neighbor. Precious was a long-red &white haired angora. She came running down the sidewalk and she jumped right up on the fence behind me. No one knew who she belonged to. Then I saw 2 male cats running down the walkway, looking for her. I quickly gathered her from the fence and took her inside. It turned out she was pregnant with 2 baby kitten’s. I took the vet and she was checked out. I found good homes to the two young ones. I moved to Florida and she was with me 11 yrs. The best most loving, wonderful friend I’ve ever had in the world. She died from cancer, and I miss her every day. I still cry. Animals can save us if we save them. I have photos of her with my family photos.
