Everly Brothers – All I Have To Do Is Dream

WOW! This brings back many fond memories for Billy and I (Billy&Lillie) were on Patty Page’s “Big Record” show the same evening that the Everly Brothers were back in 1958. We performed “Lucky Ladybug” or Lah Dee Dah” .WOW! I can’t believe how quickly these years have flown by.

It was in 1958 not 56. I remember Christmas morning my dad turning it on to wake me up. All those many years I still live in the homestead where I grew up.

This reminds me of my dear husband that went home to be with OUR HEAVENLY FATHER July 20, 1982. He had a beautiful Tenor singing voice and seem to remember the words of many songs. His favorite at the time was ” I left My Heart in San Francisco” ” We loved to Ballroom dance and he was a terrific dancer and liked to do the Balboa Shuffle way back in the 40’s and 50’s.May GODs angels continue to watch over all of you forever, is my prayer.

Their record was the first one I remember buying after Christmas 1956 when I received a new Hi Fi. Those were the good times.

Those were the days for beautiful songs with beautiful words instead of the screaming we hear now. Anne

I’ve lived a very good life, but the best part was in the 50’s when we had performers like the Everly Brothers to dance to and experience our “puppy love.” I’ll never forget! I wish our Grand Children had music as we had instead of the noise they now call music.
