Up until Sept 2011, I was able to go and do anything. Run, walk, lift things, hike. I had no limitations at all. May 2012, I had back surgery, I had gotten blood poison and became septic, the Dr’s removed part of my spine which left me disabled. While recovering from surgery, I fell into a coma, was like this for about a week or so. When I woke up and found that I was on dialysis, and then to be told that I could never walk again. Poor me started to set in. I cried so much cause my life was over as I used to know it. I thought since I couldn’t walk anymore whats the use of living. I wanted to die, I wanted to die more than anything. My best friend kept telling me something while I was in coma, “Jesus loves you”. And while I was in the coma, I had an image of Jesus and when I walked towards him, Jesus backed off, and pushed me back. I wondered for the longest time why Jesus didn’t want me at this time.. I know now why He didn’t want me. There were things out there that I could do. I was able to help other over come what they were going through at the time. And now to this day, I am no longer feeling so sorry for myself as I am able to walk, not good but I am doing it, with the help of canes, and I do aqua exercises. I am able to do some of the things I used to do, just takes longer.. One needs to say to themselves, “I CAN DO IT, I WANT TO DO IT.” If I had given up years ago where would I be, stuck in a bed or wheel chair for the rest of my life. You need to tell yourself, there are others worse off than what I am. These are the people you fight for when they can’t or are unable to do it on there own. One has to do it for yourself. Never let the word “CAN”T” be spoken.
I am so proud of Jennifer for going forward and doing what she has done for herself, God has given this young lady challenges in her life, and she has over come them. This word “can’t ” never to be spoken. She gives new meaning to the words ” I can do it”. What an inspiration Jennifer has become to everyone. Keep up the good work.

In other message I read that her parents abandoned her (they did not give her in adoption) and a wonderful lady actually picked her up and adopted her.
