I’ve seen, heard and read this story before. It made me cry then, and it still makes me cry today. Oh, if only we love without thinking about what we could have besides our spouse. A truly inspirational, loving, story. True love never dies.
I was married…in july 1978 too…
After a very nice love story…and a happy marriage with two children…
he became very depressed because of some problems in his office…and he wanted to comit suicide…
His secretary found in time…and 3 month later…came again in his office.
Unfortunately…the same happened like the precedent story…he was murdered…in 2002.
Unlike the lovely love story depicted in today’s story, my marriage is a sad story from beginning to end. When I was a virginal naive young woman in the 1950’s, I had hoped to fall in love and marry my prince charming. Prince Charming turned out to be the Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing! My prince courted me and proposed to me and said all the right things and led me to believe he loved me. However, I discovered shortly after our marriage, that I had married a man who was still in love with his former sweetheart! He married me on the rebound while he continued to pursue the woman of his dreams who had married a better prospect. I was divorced after he moved to Texas. ON TODAY’S DATE, 13 years later, my former husband was murdered in his home during a home invasion and robbery by gang members.
Very touching and the way it should be, comfortable and secure. My Mother never remarried after my father passed away very early in her life. She lived to be almost 100, but in my her eyes, her love for my father was eternal. In this darling little animation, I loved how just the simplicity of everyday considerations were cherished. If people would just stop the madness of over compensating and trying to out do in this deeply material world, they would discover the greatest spiritual treasure cherishing life and the people they love.
Only then does life really become special. You never lose a loved one, even in death. That connection is eternal. My heart goes out to people who have never experienced this.
In today’s society (in my opinion) so many young folk are not willing to REALLY COMMIT, to become
LESS SELFISH … to understand that in any given day, the give ‘n take in the relationship is never 50/50
(and that is OK). And above all, never > ever keep a ‘score card’. This only adds devisiveness.
End the day with a kiss. Those three short words – I Love You – should be shared each day as you
bid your partner good-bye ….. you never know what the evening will (or won’t) bring …
This is the most beautiful story there could be, when you are young and things are good they are good, but when you get older and things are hard that is when you really find love. I have that now and I will never regret a minute I have spent at the hospital with my husband day in and out. I was happy when I took him home and he recovered. I was sad when I lost my best friend, lover, pal and husband, life was not the same and you don’t ever get over it, it gets easier as time goes but it still hurts. He has been gone 26 years now and it seems like yesterday, but because of him I am the person I am today as far as love. I now have found another great man, he is caring and loving, I don’t know what I did to deserve him, I just know I am happy again, he gives me music and he writes me songs, he has been sick, had a stroke but is doing fine and I feel so greatful to have him in my life. I will love them both forever and ever. Like in the wedding vowels til death do us part, it doesn’t stop there, it is forever and ever. Thank you for your time in reading this it really helped me today,in two days it will be the 26th year my first love had to leave me, see it doesn’t stop when they are gone. Just remember there is a tomorrow.
I do believe,That God above,Created you,For me to love!If when I die and go to heaven,I`ll paint your face on the golden stairs,So all the angels will know and see, Just what you really meant to me!
And if by judgement day youve have not comed,I`ll know youve gone the other way!
And just to show you what i`ll do,I`ll go to hell dear,Just for you!
Thats the sweetest thing I ever saw. If u have someone like that consider yourself very lucky and tell them everyday how u feel. You never know how long u will have oh and u will need a kleenex, several if u watch this.
This rings so close to home. My hubby and I were high school sweethearts, and have been married over 42 years. I was diagnosed with 3 different kinds of cancer, on Christmas Day, 2008. I am a survivor, and my hubby was by my side every step of the way. I could not have made it without him. Too many people think that marriage is a game, and if something goes wrong, you can just quit and walk away. That’s just not true. Marriage is a job, and it takes work, but believe me it is worth it 100 fold, its weight in gold!
I love my sweetheart more then I did yesterday, but less then I will tomorrow. What more can I say, it just keeps getting better and better. It’s so much fun to grow old with someone you love. Every minute, every breath is precious, because you never know when it might be your last.
PS. If your a romantic softie, you will need Kleenex…I did!)

This is beautiful !!! It is so difficult losing that love, in this life. It is a consolation to know that love is waiting on the other side.
