Angels Among Us
There are angels among us,
one for me and one for you.
God sent them to watch over us,
our whole lives through.
I knew that when I met you,
I saw a certain spark.
you appeared before me,
when the world seemed so dark.
God must have had me in mind
when he gave me a friend like you.
He knew I would need advice,
and a helping hand or two;
Someone to pick me up,
when I stumble and fall,
when the world seems so horrible
and not worth living at all.
I have certainly had my days
when I needed your hand.
I thank God for sending you to me,
and for including me in His plan.
If you ever need comfort,
the way I sometimes do,
please think of me,
I will always reach out my hand
and offer you comfort too.

I AM BLESSED WITH THREE ANGELS…….ONE MAN AND TWO LADIES THAT HAVE APPEARED TWICE ..SO FAR…BOTH TIMES THEY CAME AND SAVED ME FROM CERTAIN DEATH…….I LOVE MY ANGELS AND I AM COMFORTED BY THEM I PRAISE GOD FOR THEM….I HAVE DONE NOTHING THAT I AM AWARE OF TO BE SO BLESSED…..TO GOD BE THE GLORY…….I FEEL CONFIDENT OF MY PLACE IN HEAVEN WHEN MY APPOINTED TIME COMES….TO BE WITH MY MOM….MY BEST SWEET FRIEND..APRIL AND SO MANY MORE THAT HAVE GONE ON BEFORE ME……I AM THANKFUL FOR MY HUSBAND…BILLY THAT HE TOO WAS GIVEN THE BLESSING OF SEEING MY ANGELS…..AND ASKED ME….WHO ARE THOSE PEOPLE……THEY APPEARED AND FOLLOWED US HOME AFTER SAVING US FROM A WRECK THAT WOULD HAVE KILLED US BOTH AND SOME OTHERS AS WELL…..MY HUSBAND WAS SUFFERING FROM LUNG CANCER AND HAS SINCE PASSED AWAY….WHEN HE ASKED ME WHO ARE THOSE PEOPLE….I KNEW AS SOON AS HE ASKED….I TOLD HIM THEY ARE MY ANGELS..I AM SO THANKFUL THAT HE TOO WAS ALLOWED TO SEE THEM…..

Thank you for the beautiful and caring comments. Yes it is time to pray for all of GOD’S children, no matter where they might be. Yes the angels have certainly been a great part of my life, as I wouldn’t have found JESUS as my SAVIOUR, if hadn’t been for the angels GOD sent into my life during my teenage life. Hi Denise Garland, I will prayer for you&everyone on here, we all have troubles down the roads we follow,but with the grace of God, everything is possible. I belive in you and you are going to make it thru.Remember God gave us Jesus his only son for us. Just keep on beliveing & you will be fine.There are always angel’s by your side,wherever you go in this world. We should all take time out now to pray for everyone now on this site.Lorraine.

Denise, you listen to Rhoda … she ‘GETS IT!’. God’s Blessings on you both. I too have my own cross to carry, but God, Mother God and my Angels were with me every step of the way. I had 3 bouts of Cancer, losted my darling husband to it the end of of January, 2010. 3 weeks later I had a mastectomy on one breast, the year before lost a lung & year before a turmour removed. I’m still hanging in there and with there’re help, know I will make it …. make each day a good one as possible. :>)

here i am…just take my hand and write anytime and anything that’s on your heart.
there is nothing you feel or have been hurt by, that i can’t understand and would be GLAD to help…even if it’s just by listening.
there is no judgement…there is just life.
these days, satan has successfully separated us from each other and we need to know that there really ARE others who are prisoners locked in their hurt, lonliness, and trying (unsuccessfully) to handle it all by ourself.
life has become too riduclously compicated. we need to stop watching the news and go back to Andy of Mayberry.
just know that i’m a stranger and fellow traveler…and angels are often strangers that travel with us.

Denise, You say you are so lost, but is appears to me that you have been found by our Lord. Don’t be so hard on yourself. He knows your heart and still holds you in the palm of His hand. Strong faith does not come over night. You just continue to pray and give all your burdens to Jesus. When a dumb thought enters your mind, (and we know the devil has a way of sneaking them in) treat it like a piece of junk mail but instead of throwing it in the trash….hold out your hand and send it special delivery to the Lord. Not even expensive postage required. He will handle it. God bless you and your family.

This is a Beautiful Poem. I write them also & I know good one’s when I see them. My Daddy is in the Ga. Country music Hall of Fame & Honor but we lost him to cancer back in 1991. I miss him but not his pain. My Mama is dying in a nursing home dw: south from me. I took care of her for 6yr’s so I’m asking you all for Prayer’s. Please also Pray for my Family & Friend’s Please Pray for me. I’m so lost but a firm believer in God & His Son but my Faith is somewhat off but I still continue to Pray & believe that I’ll get thru all of my problem’s thru the Power of Prayer!

I have angels in heaven and one here on Earth. God has taken away, yes, but has provided for me with care, comforting and help from this very special angel on earth. I will be uncessingly grateful for the love shown me and to know I am a child of God. I am so needy that He cannot be always with me but I know He cares through this human angel He sent. I will always trust in God , believe that He cares for all He has created, not always by granting all your prayers, but in sending what He knows you need to complete the life he has planned for you. So far He has for me, so have patience, trust and believe. You human angels have a much more difficult job than you can ever imagine, think about how difficult you may be sometimes. I work with many parents who have little angels, like mine, and give my time and life to holding out a hand to comfort them in return for the comfort I have been so fortunate to have received. I’d like to think that I might be a human angel to someone in need at some time in their life. That’s my purpose on earth now.

“Angels Among Us.” This poem touches my heart. I’ve needed someone special to take my hand, guide me and inspire me, a confidant and friend to share my ups and downs, joys and sorrows and so much more.
I always believed I might have a guardian angel. Many, many times when situations came up that could have compromised my safety, someone came to my aid! Until recently, 2 years ago, I felt as though I would be protected in times of trouble.
Something happened 2 years ago that made me think I had lost my guardian angel. It was an unfortunate and freaky accident, from which I have never fully recovered. Shortly after my accident, (through a psychic experience) I was blessed with finding someone I knew when I was young. My vision caused me to feel that he was not well. (I’ve had these visions before; in every case, the person in my vision died shortly thereafter.) With this on my mind, I took the initiative to write a note. This couldn’t have happened at a more opportune and needy time in both of our lives!
It had to be my guardian angel that made all this possible. Now, when we are in need of a hand to hold, comfort and inspiration, we can keep in touch. Whatever the reasons, I am very grateful for the outcome. He has proven to be a very special friend.
