This is a wonderful ministry that should be available everywhere, but people need to know about it first. Then, find others of a similar spirit and put a choir together. .Last, contact hospices in their area and offer the service.

There is power in music. About 10 years ago my wife’s younger brother was in his final days in the hospital. The
family had been called in to say their goodbyes and his vital signs were extremely low. My wife started to sing hymns
to him very softly and his vitals came up a little. Soon all 20 to 25 of us were singing and he was responding favorably.
I went to the chapel and brought back some hymnals and we had a good old revival right there in the hospital room.
I was holding his hand and decided to tell him a joke. His brother was furious when I told the joke but he squeezed
my hand twice. (He and I always joked around with each other) Later the doctor came and said we should tell her brother “It’s okay to go now” so we stopped singing and he passed away with a smile on his face. God is so Good.
