It was a beautiful video but I would like to have seen more of the cities and other countryside where people live. My great-grandmother on my mother’s side was from Scotland. My husband and I had planned to go there one day but he passed away last year so am not sure if I will ever make the trip.
Lovely However uninhabitable, should have shown the uglier side , of Scotland of to-day that is symptomatic of the entire Country ,due to the the previous Labour Government Socialist Agenda to enslave the people into becoming an entire underclass of poorly educated & morally bankrupt , Third ,& Fourth generation ,non aspiring non working human beings , Why any Government of that Era. would encourage people of working age to abandon the Christian faith ,and the work ethics of our Parents generation ,who had survived the Great Depression era and working hard to better themselves & not to end up in the Workhouse or Poorhouse to be a abused by the then Welfare system of no payment, just separated into working categories of your skills, Seamstress, Cleaner, Cook, manual labor, Women were separated from Husbands , who lived in separate housing , and had to pay to live there according to any appropriate Skill they exhibited. it was a dreadful era, & experience as family;s were torn apart , due to lack of work and immediate poverty.
This was the Blackest & ugliest era of the British Empire , the harshest of treatment, was meted out to the poor and the stigma recorded to
this day ,on past relatives is well documented, in every Community Archives to be found at the Libraries & makes for very disturbing reading .
Sadly we have produced a population of lazy, entitlement minded population,of Welfare payment recipients, marauding, through life as an , non skilled labour force age population, producing many offspring to many women with no intent of providing financial support for the upkeep of these women or children , and the process is Repeating, through four Generations , with no clear end in sight . Sadly the Scotland of my Generation no longer exists !
