THIS EMAIL BROUGHT BACK MEMORIES OF WHEN I WAS A PRETEEN. MY GIRLFRIEND SALLY AND I WALKED BEHIND A PERSON WHO ACTUALLY “WOBBLED” WHEN THEY WALKED. WE EYED EACH OTHER AND PEALS OF LAUGHTER CAME AUTOMATICALLY AND WE JUST COULDN’T STOP LAUGHING. WHEN THEY TURNED AROUND, WE WERE VERY SERIOUS FACED. THEN WE CAUGHT EACH OTHERS EYE AND BEGAN TO GIGGLE AND LAUGH AGAIN. WE WERE NOT MEAN NOR WANTED TO HURT THE OTHER PERSON, IN OUR IMMATURE AGE, IT JUST BROUGHT LAUGHTER AND GIGGLES. TO THIS DAY I LOVE TO HEAR CHILDREN GIGGLE AND LAUGH. HOW PRECIOUS THEY ARE… DON’T YOU THINK WE REALLY SHOULD LAUGH MORE TODAY ???
Blessings… Elizabeth W.
P.S. I have always laughed at myself… it is fun.
That truly brought many good memories and gave me an upward lift to continue to walk with GOD each day. Happy anniverssary Margie and Daniel. Well I have you outranked in age. I am 89 years young at heart, but slightly older in other places, a widow for 29 years. Spent forty beautiful years with my husband Ray, before he went home to GOD.
That was beautiful and certainly back lots of good memories. I am in my Golden Years, 89 years young at heart, but slightly older in other places. I live in a board and care, but able to view the morning glory vines on the wall in the backyard, plus watch the mocking birds play. I praise OUR HEAVENLY FATHER for HIS great creation for HIS children to appreciate.
i lived in the bronx..where i cant see any thing but trains….buses…..buildings….in order to see anything i have to go the roof…and then i look to the sky….and see the sunset…..but i miss squirrels ….somehow i like to talk to them..
i too marvel at GOD’s creations…how beautiful nature is..i also sit quietly and watch and listen to all the sights and sounds around me..i am 56, and it took years to appreciate all the simple things in life..i think that with age you slow down and realize the beauty of life…it’s all part of GOD’s plan…may HE Bless you and Keep you safe all the days of your lives..anne
I will soon be 52 and I do that as well Elizabeth W. I surely hope to still be doing it when I’m 80 like you. I absolutely love to sit and watch the birds. Listen and guess what bird it is until I find it. Chatter with the squirrels that get really close. Nature is such a wonder, so peaceful, and beautiful.
I am a senior citizen of 80 years old, and I go out into my backyard by myself and listen to the birds, etc. and
I still stop and look at a dandelion, violet, etc. and see the nature all around me and thank GOD for this still beautiful world… I am a child again !!! Never give up your smile and relive the good past and feel the wonder of the present… It is there for you…
